General Terms
Welcome to SoundGampas. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.
Services Description
SoundGampas provides at-home tuning and maintenance services for musical instruments, including but not limited to guitars, pianos, violins, and wind instruments. Our services include:
- Instrument tuning and setup
- Maintenance and cleaning
- Minor repairs
- Consultations and assessments
Booking and Appointments
When booking our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your instrument
- Be present at the scheduled appointment time or provide access to your instrument
- Notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment
We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice.
Payment Terms
Payment for our services is due at the time of service completion, unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and electronic transfers.
Our prices are subject to change without notice. However, we will honor the price quoted at the time of booking for that specific service.
Service Guarantees
We strive to provide high-quality services and ensure customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with our services, please notify us within 7 days of service completion, and we will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns.
For piano tuning services, we offer a 30-day stability guarantee. If your piano goes out of tune within 30 days of our service (under normal conditions), we will retune it at no additional cost.
User Responsibilities
When using our services, you agree to:
- Provide a safe and clean environment for our technicians to work
- Inform us of any known issues or damage to your instrument before service
- Follow our recommendations for instrument care and maintenance
- Treat our staff with respect and courtesy
Limitation of Liability
While we take utmost care when handling your instruments, we are not liable for:
- Pre-existing conditions or damage to your instrument
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage resulting from improper use or maintenance after our service
- Consequential or incidental damages
Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.
Service Area and Limitations
We currently provide services in the Greater Vancouver area, including Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, and surrounding communities. For locations outside this area, additional travel fees may apply.
We reserve the right to refuse service if:
- The instrument is in a condition that makes service unsafe or impractical
- The service location is unsafe or unsanitary
- The requested service is beyond our expertise or capabilities
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of SoundGampas and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our express permission.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
